Charley Hull has dismissed the social media fury over her scratchcard prank on caddie Adam Woodward, insisting the criticism only makes her play better at the AIG Women's Open.

Charley Hull has told critics to pipe down after her scratchcard prank on caddie Adam Woodward sparked outrage online. The stunt - where Hull tricked Woodward into thinking he'd scooped £100,000 - drew fierce criticism on social media. Hull's response? She couldn't care less.
The English golfer insisted Woodward saw the funny side. More than that, she claims the backlash is actually helping her game. "It fuels me," she said, suggesting the negativity drives her to perform better.
While the internet raged, Hull got on with business at the AIG Women's Open. A second-round 71 followed her opening 69, leaving her at two under par at Royal Lytham & St Annes. She's firmly in the mix heading into the weekend.
Hull admitted she had very little sleep before round two but says her nerves have settled. She's confident and looking forward to the challenge ahead.
Love her or loathe her, Hull remains box office.
