Atlético Madrid have tied down teenage forward Emma Moreno to a fresh deal running until 30 June 2028. Not bad for a 19-year-old who joined the club's academy back in 2015.
Moreno heads back to Eibar on loan for a second straight season. The move keeps her in Liga F, where regular minutes are guaranteed - something no young striker can afford to turn down.
Her first spell was hardly quiet. She racked up 29 appearances and over 1,500 minutes in 2025/26. The cheeky highlight? Her sole league goal came against her parent club, Atlético Madrid.
Moreno's senior breakthrough arrived in the 2024/25 campaign. She faced Rangers in the Women's Champions League and made her Liga F bow against Deportivo - a rapid step up from youth football, as reported by OneFootball.
Club commitments aside, Moreno is stacking international silverware at an alarming rate. She claimed a second consecutive Women's Under-19 European title with Spain in 2026 and earned a spot in the team of the tournament. She'd already tasted glory at the Women's Under-17 European Championship and the Under-17 World Cup in 2024.
Atlético clearly see a gem worth polishing. Eibar get to enjoy the sparkle in the meantime.
