Germany women's coach Christian Wück has sounded the alarm over a talent drain from the Frauen-Bundesliga, though he insists the national team will not suffer as a result.

Germany women's head coach Christian Wück has voiced his unease at the steady stream of top talent leaving the Frauen-Bundesliga for clubs abroad. The exodus, he believes, is weakening domestic competition - and the fact that only Bayern Munich are flying the German flag in this season's Champions League underlines the problem.
It is a trend that has accelerated in recent years, and Wück considers the lack of broader German representation in European club football a real cause for concern.
While the league's competitive standing troubles him, Wück is less worried about the knock-on effects for his squad. He described himself as being in a "privileged position", noting that players who relocate overseas remain available for international duty regardless of where they ply their club football.
