Iga Świątek is a Polish professional tennis player, former World No. 1, and one of the most successful players of her generation. Born on May 31, 2001, in Warsaw, Poland, Świątek became the first Polish player to win a Grand Slam singles title when she captured the 2020 French Open at Roland-Garros.
