Turkey's Turhan arrives at MVP with an unblemished 14-fight record and the IBF world lightweight title around her waist, having successfully retained it in her most recent outings. MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian has spoken enthusiastically about the signing, praising Turhan's punching power and aggressive style, Sky Sports reports.
With both fighters now sharing a promoter, the logistics of making a unification bout have become significantly simpler. The pieces are falling into place for a fight fans have been calling for - it is now a question of when, not if.
