FC Bayern Munich swept all three major individual awards for the first time in the history of German football, with the trio celebrated in front of a packed Allianz Arena ahead of the Bundesliga curtain-raiser against VfB Stuttgart on Friday evening.
Harry Kane claimed the "Footballer of the Year" title - the first Bayern player to do so since Robert Lewandowski lifted the honour in 2021. Vincent Kompany, meanwhile, was named "Coach of the Year," bringing the accolade back to Munich for the first time since 2020.
Giulia Gwinn completed the clean sweep by defending her "Footballer of the Year" crown on the women's side, only the third Bayern player to win since the award's introduction in 1996.
The club's influence stretched well beyond the podium. Michael Olise finished second in the men's vote, Joshua Kimmich fourth, and Manuel Neuer tenth. Among the women, Klara Bühl placed second, with Pernille Harder seventh, Linda Dallmann ninth, and Franziska Kett tenth, as OneFootball reports.
Club president Herbert Hainer and sporting director Christoph Freund handed over the awards on the pitch, underlining the significance of a night that cemented Bayern's dominance of German football's individual honours.
