SD Eibar keep stacking the deck. The Spanish club have confirmed Marianna Seidl as their tenth arrival of the summer window, snapping up the 24-year-old left-back from Brisbane Roar.
Seidl racked up 1,740 minutes last season across 20 appearances - 19 from the start. She chipped in with 2 assists while averaging 4.8 ball recoveries and 2.5 clearances per match. A 62% duel success rate rounds off a tidy defensive package.
The left-footed defender cut her teeth at the University of Alabama before moving to Slavia Prague. There, she helped clinch both the Czech Cup and Czech League, and featured in UEFA Women's Champions League qualification, as detailed by Liga F.
Here's the clever bit. Seidl's ability to bomb forward while staying honest defensively means Eibar can deploy a three-centre-back system with wing-backs. Attack and defence in one package. Not bad for signing number ten.
