Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell produced one of the most devastating offensive displays in WNBA history on Wednesday, powering the Indiana Fever to a commanding 113-90 demolition of the Chicago Sky.
Clark poured in 37 points with 10 assists and a career-high eight 3-pointers, while Mitchell drained six of nine from beyond the arc on her way to 30 points. Between them, the pair combined for 67 points and 14 triples - numbers that tell the story of a team firing on all cylinders.
It was the third occasion this season that both players have hit 30 or more points in the same game - a feat no duo has ever achieved in WNBA history. What started as a promising backcourt pairing has blossomed into something genuinely special.
Mitchell currently sits second in the league's scoring charts, averaging 24.8 points per game. Clark is right behind in third at 22.1, while also ranking second in assists at 8.3 per contest. Their contrasting but complementary styles have turned Indiana into one of the most dangerous offensive units in the competition.
Chicago simply had no response to Indiana's relentless shooting. With Clark orchestrating from the perimeter and Mitchell punishing any defensive lapse, the Sky were overwhelmed from tip-off to final buzzer. The 113-point haul underlined just how potent this Fever side can be when their two stars are locked in.
