FC Como Women have sent 20-year-old defender Celeste Marchiori to Real Meda on a season-long loan running until June 2027. Marchiori remains under contract with Como until 2028, Soccerdonna reports.
Marchiori penned her first professional deal with Como in the summer of 2025 after rising through the club's academy. Although she trained regularly with the senior squad, she was predominantly used in the U19 set-up and failed to register a single Serie A Women appearance last term.
Her footballing journey began at Magister before a move to Gavirate, where she played alongside boys. She subsequently joined Como's youth system and worked her way up.
Real Meda will line up in Serie C Group A for the 2026/27 campaign. The club came agonisingly close to promotion last season, only to fall at the final hurdle when they lost their playoff tie against Catania.
For Marchiori, the move offers a clear pathway to regular competitive football - something that eluded her at Como.
