Six straight losing seasons will test the patience of any organisation, and the Los Angeles Sparks are no exception. Sitting at 15-25 with just four games remaining, the club is already looking well beyond the final buzzer of 2026.

Perhaps the most tangible sign of ambition is the $150 million training and practice facility under construction in El Segundo. Featuring two WNBA regulation courts, it represents a massive upgrade for a franchise that has spent years renting temporary training venues.
The rebuild won't happen overnight, but the building blocks - young players, draft picks and proper infrastructure - are finally falling into place.
