All eight WNBA playoff teams are confirmed as the league prepares to pause for the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup, with the Minnesota Lynx firmly in control at the top of the standings.

The WNBA's playoff field is now set. Dallas Wings punched their ticket as the last team to qualify, rounding out an eight-team bracket that also includes the Atlanta Dream, Golden State Valkyries, Indiana Fever, Las Vegas Aces, Minnesota Lynx, New York Liberty, and Washington Mystics.
Minnesota sit top of the standings and are strong favourites to claim the No. 1 seed. The Valkyries and Aces are also well placed, while the Dream could land anywhere between fourth and fifth when the regular season wraps up.
The league is set to pause for the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup, but six games still need to be played first. Among the standout fixtures are New York at Minnesota and Washington at Indiana. The Lynx need just one more victory to lock in homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs.
At the other end of the table, the battle for draft positioning is intensifying. New NCAA eligibility rules have clouded the picture for the 2027 draft class, but Portland and Los Angeles are jostling for improved lottery odds, with Connecticut and Toronto also in the hunt for a top pick.
