Yamashita sealed the deal with an 8-foot birdie putt on the par-4 18th, capping off a final round of 4-under 66. The margin of victory was nothing short of embarrassing for the rest of the field, as ESPN reports.
Jin Young Ko's tournament record of 262, set back in 2019, was demolished. Yamashita also rewrote the record books for 36 and 54 holes along the way. This wasn't just dominance - it was a masterclass.
Yuri Yoshida claimed second at 14 under. Sei Young Kim finished third at 13 under. Canada's Anna Huang was the home crowd's best hope, tying for fourth at 12 under. None came remotely close.
The tournament also settled three US Solheim Cup spots. Captain Angela Stanford is expected to announce her remaining picks shortly.
