Contrasting momentum

Eskilstuna United sit fourth in the Damallsvenskan on 26 points after 16 rounds, two places and two points above AIK in sixth. AIK bolster squad amid injury crisis

AIK have been forced into transfer window activity to address a striking crisis. Key forward Adelisa Grabus is out for the remainder of the season following knee surgery, while new signing Loreta Kullashi is also injured. In response, AIK have signed Icelandic forward Ásdís Halldórsdóttir and midfielder Dajan Hashemi, who returns to Sweden from Brøndby IF.
