Granadilla Tenerife and Deportivo de La Coruña meet on Saturday having both lost their Primera División Femenina openers - and both failed to score. Tenerife were hammered 5-0 at Barcelona, while Deportivo fell 1-0 at home to Sevilla. Neither side has found the net in the new campaign, making this a clash between two teams desperate to get off the mark.
Last season told very different stories. Tenerife finished a strong fourth with 54 points, conceding just 47 goals in 30 matches. Deportivo ended 12th on 31 points, shipping 54. That gap in quality should favour the hosts.
Tenerife have dominated this fixture at home, winning the last two meetings on their turf - 5-1 and 2-0. Deportivo have not won here in recent memory.
Tenerife's superior pedigree and home advantage point to them as favourites, though both sides' early-season struggles add uncertainty.
