BK Häcken have secured the signature of 18-year-old Norwegian talent Julie Steen from Røa, with sports director Christian Lundström revealing the move during a live broadcast on transfer deadline day.
Lundström confirmed the club had landed a promising young player from Norway, completing a deal that takes Steen from the Norwegian domestic scene to one of Scandinavia's top sides.
Steen, who broke into Røa's senior squad at a young age, described the transfer as a huge moment in her career. Moving from a smaller club to one competing in the UEFA Women's Champions League represents a significant leap, and the teenager made no secret of her enthusiasm.
