Seattle Reign storm into this NWSL Group Stage clash on a run of three wins from their last four matches - and they've barely broken a sweat doing it. Back-to-back 1-0 victories over Chicago Red Stars and Houston Dash were followed by a dominant 1-0 dismissal of San Diego Wave. That sole blip? A 2-1 defeat at Racing Louisville. At home this season, the Reign boast six wins, just three losses, and a stingy 0.8 goals-against average.
Bay FC arrive in Seattle on a brutal losing streak. Defeats to Washington Spirit (1-0) and Kansas City (2-1) have extended a miserable run. Their season record of six wins, four draws, and twelve losses tells its own story - this is a side struggling for consistency. Seattle's home defensive record and current momentum make them firm favourites. Bay FC's travel sickness and inability to keep clean sheets away point to a tough night. The Reign should control this one, but Bay FC's knack for producing chaotic scorelines in this fixture means a clean script is never guaranteed.
