Piteå native Ronja Aronsson is back at her hometown club after injury cut short her stint with Norwegian side Vålerenga.

Ronja Aronsson is home. The Piteå-born footballer has rejoined her hometown club after a bruising spell abroad with Vålerenga that was derailed by injury.
The return to the Damallsvenskan marks a fresh start for Aronsson, who endured a difficult rehabilitation process she described as "a shock", requiring further medical imaging to fully assess the damage.
Despite the setbacks, Aronsson speaks warmly of her time in Norway, praising the atmosphere around the Norwegian league. Still, she believes the Swedish top flight offers a more consistent standard of play across the board.
Now back in familiar surroundings, Aronsson says she feels re-energised. The support from Piteå's fans and the local community has given her a lift as she looks to rebuild her career on home turf, Fotbollskanalen reports.
