Monica Jusu Bah has completed a move to Manchester United, joining the Women's Super League side from Swedish club BK Häcken. The 23-year-old's transfer was confirmed on Friday.
Jusu Bah established herself as one of the standout performers in the Damallsvenskan and earned international recognition with a call-up to the national team. Across 107 appearances for Häcken, she contributed 32 goals and 15 assists - a record that attracted attention from across Europe.
Martin Ericsson, Häcken's football chief, said the deal underscores the club's growing reputation on the global stage. While losing a key player is never easy, the transfer is seen as proof that the Swedish side can develop talent capable of thriving at the highest level, as reported by Fotbollskanalen.
For Jusu Bah, the move represents a significant step up in her career as she prepares to test herself in one of the world's most competitive women's leagues.
