AIK's clash with Kristianstad has been pushed back after overnight and morning downpours left the Skytteholms IP pitch unplayable. The announcement came less than an hour before the scheduled kickoff in Solna.
The match referee inspected the surface and ruled it unfit for play. AIK confirmed the game would be delayed by at least one hour, though a revised kickoff time has yet to be determined, as reported by Expressen.
The postponement comes at a crucial stage. AIK sit fifth in the Damallsvenskan while Kristianstad occupy sixth, separated by a slim points margin. Both sides are battling for European qualification, making this a fixture neither can afford to lose.
