Manchester City midfielder Laura Blindkilde Brown has committed her future to the club with a three-year contract extension running until 2030, after a standout double-winning season.

Manchester City have tied down Laura Blindkilde Brown to a fresh three-year deal, securing the midfielder's future at the club through to summer 2030.
It's a well-earned reward. The 21-year-old England international has gone from promising newcomer to indispensable starter in remarkable fashion since arriving from Aston Villa in January 2024.
The 2025/26 campaign was the one that truly announced Blindkilde Brown. She featured in 29 of City's 32 matches as the club clinched a domestic double - not bad for a player who deliberately turned down a loan move that season to fight for her spot.
Her all-action style was hard to miss. Ranked second among teammates with 42 tackles and boasting an 87.6% pass success rate, she combined defensive grit with tidy distribution, as OneFootball reports.
In total, Blindkilde Brown has racked up 59 appearances for City. She's also earned seven senior England caps since making her international debut in November 2024.
Her performances have not gone unnoticed - she was shortlisted for the PFA WSL Young Player of the Year award this season.
Despite the new contract and the accolades, Blindkilde Brown shows no signs of easing off. The midfielder has made clear her intention to keep pushing, keep improving, and keep making life difficult for anyone trying to take her place. City fans will be delighted she's going nowhere.
