Manchester City boss Andrée Jeglertz reckons Grace Clinton should be back in contention for the Barclays Women's Super League clash at Aston Villa this weekend.
Clinton sat out the recent fixture against Birmingham City, but Jeglertz sounded upbeat about her prospects of featuring at Villa Park.
The Swede was keen to stress that his squad selections against Birmingham were driven by tactics, not the physio's table. With Sydney sidelined through injury, City currently have three central midfielders at their disposal - and Jeglertz believes each of them can make a real impact, as OneFootball reports.
Jeglertz hasn't forgotten last season's goalless stalemate with the Villans. He pointed to their recent showing against Chelsea as proof that Villa Park is no easy trip.
The message? City need to be sharper this time around. Lessons from that frustrating draw must be applied if they want three points rather than one.
