Swedish striker Cassandra Korhonen has signed a two-year deal with Charlton Athletic, arriving from Danish side HB Køge.

Charlton Athletic have bagged themselves a new forward - and she comes with a passport full of stamps. Swedish striker Cassandra Korhonen has put pen to paper on a two-year deal, arriving from Danish A-Liga outfit HB Køge, as reported by WSL Full-Time.
Korhonen, 28, has racked up quite the footballing CV. Clubs in Sweden, Finland, Portugal and Switzerland have all featured on her journey before she pitched up in Denmark. Not bad for someone who still has plenty left in the tank.
She's also pulled on a Sweden shirt at Under-21 level, adding international pedigree to an already impressive résumé.
The Swede wasted no time expressing her delight at the move, praising the club's rich history and facilities. It seems The Valley has made quite the impression.
Whether Korhonen features in Charlton's upcoming clash against Everton remains to be seen. Either way, fans will be eager to catch a first glimpse of their new recruit.
