Malmö FF delivered a ruthless performance away to Växjö DFF, romping to a 4-0 victory in the Damallsvenskan thanks to a stunning hat trick from Hlin Eiriksdottir.
The Icelandic forward opened the scoring on 27 minutes before doubling her tally just seven minutes later, sending Malmö into the break with a comfortable two-goal cushion.
Eiriksdottir wasn't finished. She completed her hat trick after the interval to make it 3-0, effectively killing the contest. Tuva Skoog then added a fourth to put the seal on a dominant afternoon for the visitors.
The emphatic win lifts Malmö FF into third place in the Damallsvenskan standings, with a pivotal clash against BK Häcken up next - a match that could have serious implications at the top of the table. For Växjö DFF, languishing in ninth, it was a day to forget.
