Adelisa Grabus has undergone knee surgery, bringing her 2026 campaign with AIK to a premature end as the club battles a mounting injury crisis.

AIK forward Adelisa Grabus has been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign after undergoing knee surgery over the summer. Wear and tear injuries in her knee made it impossible for her to continue playing, forcing the decision to go under the knife.
Grabus now faces a six-month rehabilitation period, as Fotbollskanalen reports. She has come to terms with the setback and plans to begin training towards the end of the current season, with her sights set firmly on next year.
The timing could hardly be worse for AIK, who have slumped to three consecutive defeats this autumn. The club is already without new signing Loreta Kullashi due to injury, leaving them short of a recognised striker. Grabus's absence only compounds an already difficult situation for the struggling side.
