Piteå looked set to claim a hard-fought away win in the Damallsvenskan before Amanda Wulff's 80th-minute equaliser earned Brommapojkarna a share of the spoils. The final score: 1-1 - and neither side left particularly happy.
Brommapojkarna began brightly, but it was the visitors who struck first. In the 13th minute, Shiho Matsubara picked out Alexandra Hellekant, who finished clinically to bag her sixth goal of the campaign and hand Piteå a 1-0 lead at the break.
The hosts pushed hard after half-time and finally found their reward ten minutes from the end. Wilma Warulf delivered a cross that Wulff converted to level the contest at 1-1, as SVT reports.
Piteå's Maja Green admitted her side performed well in the opening 45 minutes but faded badly after the interval. Wulff, meanwhile, conceded that Brommapojkarna should have done more with the chances they created, calling the single point a disappointment.
